Annual technical inspection

All cars, trucks and buses registered in Bulgaria are subject to technical review. The only exception are new vehicles, which undertake a review after their 3rd year. We recommend that the statutory annual review in licensed shops like ours, where you can get a quality check on the status of the motor of vehicle (MV). Points has a modern technique for measuring callipers and measuring exhaust.

How often should an Annual Technical review be undertaken

In other words it should more accuratelly be called a periodic technicsl review as some vehicles are required to be reviewed twice a year.
- Cars must pass technical inspection once a year
- Taxis/ Truck are reqired to pass the review once every 6 months

Documents needed to pass the Annual Technical Preview

Vehicle license car parts 1 and 2 (large and small ticket)
- Proof of valid liability insurance
- Certificate for annual technical inspection of the gas system, if your vehicle has one.
- Identity card (ID card or driving license) of the person providing the vehicle for examination.

What is included in the Annual Technical Review

In Annual Technical Preview monitor the whole condition of the car, truck or bus. Identification of the vehicle - registration numbers and documentation. Measurement of the braking system; status of brakes, parking brake and ABS. Condition of steering. Operation of all lights - lights, headlights, turn signals, gauges. Condition of electrical equipment - battery. Condition of tires, axles and suspension. Harmful effects - noise emissions exhaust. Car equipment - first aid kit, fire extinguisher, triangle, belts etc.
